1st Semi-final

Olcomendy*-Ducassou defeated Beille-Guichandut 40-30.

Match statistics

O-D lead throughout the match, although B-G made a run at them in 4th decade (20-10--23-17). Bielle led all scorers with +18, but was somewhat neutralized by Guichandut's -11. Ducassou's scoring was +10 -1.

2nd Semi-final:

Larralde-Amulet defeated Lambert-de Ezcurra 40-18.

2. Tournoi Hobernak (D'Arcangues) (1)(2), an EP 1000 tournament, was completed on November 1, 2016 with a full replay of the final that was originally played on July 14, 2016. That match was postponed after Larralde suffered an ankle injury.

Larralde-Ducassou defeated Waltary-Bilbao 40-28

The second try at playing this match suffered the same fate as the first, except for the fact that Bilbao was able to come back from injuring his left hand. In fact the break seemed to interrupt L-D's momentum and led to an 15-2 run and a 18-16 lead for W-B. But they couldn't keep their momentum going, and L-D dominated the rest of the match 24-10 to win the championship.
