Jai Alai/Cesta Punta--Internationaux Cesta Punta--Master 1 Tournament

The 2016 Donibane Lohizune (Saint-Jean-de-Luz) Internationaux Cesta Punta Masters competitions began on July 7, 2016 and run through August 25, 2016. At the ICP website, you will find scheduled matches, results, match articles, rules of the competition, player pages, and how the player points are determined, among other information.

The Master 1 Internationaux Cesta Punta Tournament was held at Donibane Lohizune (Saint-Jean-de-Luz) (1) (2) from July 7-12, 2016.

First Semi-Final: Olharan-Minvielle defeated Tambourindeguy, Jon-Alliez 2-1 (12-15, 15-8, 5-1) Note. at the time of this post, some sources had Patxi rather than Jon listed. This is incorrect.

As a prelude to the 2016 Donibane Lohizune (Saint-Jean-de-Luz) Internationaux Cesta Punta Masters competitions that began on July 7, 2016 and run through August 25, ICP sponsored this tournament. Eight doubles teams competed. The entire tournament is summarized at pelotelive.free.fr After quarter-final matches at Pau  (1) (2)  and Soorts-Hossegor (1) (2), the semi-finals and finals were held at Donibane Lohizune (Saint-Jean-de-Luz) (1) (2).
