Cesta Punta Gant d'Or Summer League Series was a series of  "mini-tournaments" being played from May 6 through June 17 as a "play-in" Tournament to the  major Iparralde Summer 2022 Grand Slam Tournament at Donibane Lohizune (Saint Jean-de-Luz), which begins July 7 and runs through August 17. The top finishing front and back in the Summer League advanced. There is as yet (June 15, 2022) no information on the rosters for Gant d'Or (Biarritz) or the Pau Cup (the other two major Iparralde Summer Tournaments).

The Summer League Tournament was a double elimination Tournament with the top team in the Winners Bracket facing the survivor of the Loser's bracket for the Championship.

The Tournament was played at two venues.

Note: Selected matches played in Biarritz were live streamed via Cesta Punta Gant d'OR Facebook. These are not commercial quality videos, but they are pretty good videos in my opinion. As to the commentary, which is in French, it left a little to be desired, especially since scores were not called out on any consistent basis. This I found to be extremely frustrating. I will link to them below. For this tournament there will be no non-spoiler section.

Notable:

Laduche-Zabala won the Summer Series with a perfect 4-0 record, including 2 wins over Olha-Portet. O-P finished 3-2. This was Laduche's, 8th consecutive win this year, and 2nd consecutive Tournament win, following directly on the heels of his Tourneo Betway (Fronton Mexico--see the link above) win. It was also Zabala's 2nd Tournament win this year, following his win in the Hegoalde Jai Alai Winter Series at Gernika in March (see the link above). 

Laduche-Zabala are the final front and back in the upcoming Summer Partido Grand Slam at Donibane Lohizune (Saint Jean-de-Luz). They are scheduled as follows:
