Dania Fall 2021 Season--Video Links, Performance by Performance, Game by Game

The Dania Beach (Wikipedia) (Fronton before AND after renovation) (Frontons.net)

Dania Jai Alai began its Fall 2021 Season on September 1. It will end on November 26. Due to the fact that all Dania performances are now available free of charge, live and on demand, at the Dania Jai Alai Youtube site, I have decided to follow this season day by day, but in a different way than I have in the past.

Rather than bombard you with statistics, some of use, some perhaps not, I will endeavor to make watching the games easier for those who do not watch live. Below you will find direct links to every game of every performance. In other words, the links will point you directly to the beginning of each game.

Hopefully that will make it easier and less frustrating to find the games you are interested in. I will provide links to each performance's entries, results and overall statistics at the end of the performance. I will not be giving daily or weekly win sorts but will provide a link To Tiger's (Tigerhili.com) weekly performance compilation. That compilation is not archived, as after 20 pages of discussion on the board, the archive is terminated. I copy out Tiger's compilations and keep them for my own records. I will provide various win sorts at the end of the season.

I will also keep track of the players in each performance that win more than one game. In addition, I will be providing daily win results for Erik (Late Front), Barandika (Late Front)Ladutxe (Late Back), and Leke (Late Back) as I believe they are the four best players on the roster.

I hope you enjoy this new approach to covering the Dania Season.

Magic City Fronton, Miami Florida (1-- still photo from Magic City Hustle via WJCT 88.9 FM Radio News Story) (2--Wikipedia) hosted the Second US National Jai Alai Championship (USNJAC) August 27-29, 2021. It was a Pro-Am Tournament, with Professionals (Professional Division) from Magic City, Dania, Miami, and Calder Jai Alai (almost exclusively Quniela Jai Alai competitions), and amateurs (Masters Division) from near and far. It consisted of Singles and Doubles Tournaments. the vast majority being Partidos of 6 points--with a 7 point final--Masters, and 7 points--with a 9 point final--Professional. MC is a short (about 120 foot) court with glass front and back walls. The pelota used is a "soft ball", specially made in Hegoalde (South Basque Country) to MC specifications, as glass walls cannot withstand the force of a traditional pelota.

Hopefully this will enhance your enjoyment of the Tournament. Please inform me of any errors at jbsolock1@gmail.com.

Note that six teams wear the same color shirts in this Quiniela, making it almost impossible to tell who is who. In addition, there is no Quiniela scoreboard, making it even more confusing. Just relax and enjoy it, and appreciate the incredible skill that Stu Neiman has in being able to not only commentate, but keep track of the score for you. This obviously needs to be thought out better. Just remember, the first two teams to 6 win the playback.

Winners: Mikey Moe-Suits and Gach-Jefe
