Magic City Fronton, Miami Florida (1-- still photo from Magic City Hustle via WJCT 88.9 FM Radio News Story) (2--Wikipedia) hosted the Second US National Jai Alai Championship (USNJAC) August 27-29, 2021. It was a Pro-Am Tournament, with Professionals (Professional Division) from Magic City, Dania, Miami, and Calder Jai Alai (almost exclusively Quniela Jai Alai competitions), and amateurs (Masters Division) from near and far. It consisted of Singles and Doubles Tournaments. the vast majority being Partidos of 6 points--with a 7 point final--Masters, and 7 points--with a 9 point final--Professional. MC is a short (about 120 foot) court with glass front and back walls. The pelota used is a "soft ball", specially made in Hegoalde (South Basque Country) to MC specifications, as glass walls cannot withstand the force of a traditional pelota.

Hopefully this will enhance your enjoyment of the Tournament. Please inform me of any errors at jbsolock1@gmail.com.
